Jen Shades of Gray

This was a lab assignment for our portrait class. We had to go out and photography each other in different locations using flash, natural light & window light. These are my favorite two. I used off camera flash for the 1st one & natural light for the second one.

Senior Portraits with Nikki

Here are two protraits I took in studio and the other environmental for a senior project that I had. Nikki loves long boarding so I had her bring it into the studio & photographed her with it. This one was my favorite of her and her long board.

Composite with Nikki

These are two composite that I did for an assignment for digital class. I like both but turned in the first one to be graded. For it to be my first time doing a composite and not good on computers I think I did a good job. Now if I can make it through the major project!

Stephen Male Head Shots

These are my in studio male headshots that I had to do for an assignment. Stephen has a nice smile and skin is flawless for a male. He wanted to show off his mohawk so I did a few shots. I enjoyed working with him.

  The latest assignment in my portrait class was to take traditional and contemporary headshot of  our classmates. Out of the ones I took this one was my favorite. The Lighting paterren captureed her beautiful eyes and worked best for Sarah. She was a delight to work with!

This is in memory of my Grandmother. Working out in the yard and reading was our favorite this to do together. She was the reader and I was the listener, but we both Loved to get our hands dirty inthe dirt. This was done on color film with a Sinar Large Format camera.

Walking on Top of the World

I had a shoe assignment for my teacher Kevin. I am really loving his assignments this semester. I can have fun and learn at the same time. I can see what he's been teaching us through my work. These are one of my favorite pair of shoes and the lovely model Emily who at the time was the only one that could fit my size 7. The assignment was done with film but took some photo's with my digital too for the blog. Enjoy!!!

Seeing Clearly

I enjoyed working on this glass assignment. although I wasn't in lab when Kevin my teacher went over it because of family matters, I learned a lot. Now just praying I did it right and made a good grade!

Sunset

Was beginning to wonder why I was going back to school for my degree in photography, the passion of it was fading away. I'm away from my family a lot especially my son, its a lot of hard work and money. Then I took photo's of something I Love! And it all came back to me! It will all be worth it when I walk across that stage and the degree is placed in my hands!!!

Out at the park photographing this little fella was no joke but a lot of fun! He was all over the place I had a bunch of practice working with him. I really love working with children so that is one field of photography I will be going into. His mom is a gorgeous model & photograph well, as you can tell.
